My story...

From Stockholm to Preveza!


My name is Patrik Svenberg, and I’ve spent most of my life traveling, working in Asia, and running businesses in Sweden. In 2016, I opened Deli & Bar in Preveza, Greece – a town with potential, but with a dining culture rooted in local tradition. The idea was simple: to bring an international food experience into a more conservative culinary setting.


It wasn’t easy. It took years of dedication, investment, and determination to convince locals and tourists alike that something different could also be something exceptional. But it worked. With a dominant Asian influence, the menu attracted people looking for vibrant, flavorful alternatives to the norm – and many kept coming back.


Above all, it was the flavours that made Deli & Bar stand out. The food delivered bold, balanced flavours that resonated with people from around the world – even guests from Asia expressed surprise and joy at how authentic and satisfying the dishes were.


Deli & Bar quickly gained a reputation for quality and originality, supported by consistent top reviews and a spot on Restaurant Guru’s Top 100 list in Greece. Every dish was made from scratch in a compact one-man kitchen – a model that made the business both manageable and profitable.


After nine years of building and running the restaurant myself, I decided it was time to move on. Nearing 60, and with the natural desire for a more balanced lifestyle, I returned to Sweden to focus on a new chapter – bringing this concept to others.


Today, I’m developing Deli & Bar as a concept for others to use – with all the tools, recipes, preparation routines, and guidance that made it successful. My Greek partner, who worked in the restaurant for the past four years, supports the project by assisting with communication and local language needs.


This isn’t just a restaurant – it’s a way to work smart, serve great food, and offer a dining experience that stands out. And now, it’s ready for the next chapter – maybe with you.
